Yes, I am aware of the title of today's entry. No, it's not Afghanistan I'm referring to. Afghan is actually the name of the Indonesian singer who managed to engrave his song deep into my heart. I'm am playing his song repeatedly on my Lappie the Vegetated Laptop. I don't usually listen to Malay or Indonesian songs, only on certain occassions I do. And I am hardly ever impressed by their songs. I don't have anything against Malay or Indonesian songs, but as the saying goes, it's not my cuppa tea! But once I get hooked up on a particular Malay or Indonesian song, it means it's one helluva song. Why? Cause I say so. Lol.
So the lyrics goes,
"Terima kasih Cinta ...
Untuk segalanya
Kau berikan lagi
Kesempatan itu ...
Tak akan terulang lagi,
Semua ...
Kesalahan ku.
Yang pernah menyakiti mu ..."
Now, I know it sounds corny as ever, but I am a corny person! Yes, I've been told! So deal with it humans. I think the song would sound slightly better if we were to translate it to English. But, the point is rather deep here. Not that I've actually hurt someone (I hope so!) like this doode who allegedly/supposedly hurt his girlfriend (or boyfriend) but with the melody catching my ear the first moment I listened to this song in Abe's car til now, it's hard to say this song sucks big time. Kudos to the lyrics and melody!
Anyways, I just got back from Jetty with Myra and Intan; Diba's housemate. Today's Boy's birthday. Happy Birthday Boy!! :D You're officially 18 eh? Finally, no more the 17 year old school boy eh? Lol. Anyways, hope you enjoyed the celebration with Diba beloved. It was as if you both we were meant to be together! You both were so sweet and Diba looked uber cute in that summer dress! I can go on and on about them two, but I think it shouldn't be neccessary. Lol.
The timing was a bit behind schedule, but we managed to get through it together! The Secret Recipe cake was safely placed in Intan's car. And by 11.45 PM, the three of us - Intan, Diba and I - sped to Jetty. Intan was awesome last night. Goodness gracious! For a petite female driver who drives a Manual Iswara with no power stering, she's pretty smooth! I drove Intan's car for a bit, and it died. Oh well ...
Anyways, when we got to Jetty, we ordered ourselves a Sea Coconut slushie (it was goooood!) and Sour Soup juice. Diba was pretty anxious as she was scared Boy would be furious for disappearing the whole day; not to mention, her initial plan for Boy's celebration was canceled! It was due to some personal problems apparently. I shall not enclose the reasons here. But to concerned ones and to all readers out there, just a word of advice; it seems you never know who your real friends are til they take off their masks. No offence. Not condemning. I'm just revealing the ugly truth.
Last but not least, I wish the both of you the best of times honayh(s)!
xoxo.
